Amy Cimber is a resourceful Events Manager with over two decades of experience. She has worked in events pro bono for top most companies such as The Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society and Make a Wish Foundation for over a decade. Thereafter, she started working for clients locally and nationwide. Now, she has a huge clientele over different countries and vendor contracts.
Elaborating her professional background, she has been selling and managing end-to-end planning for weddings, non-profit and corporate events. She has a solid understanding of project management tools and event concept and design. Owing to her great communication and leadership skills, she also led other event planners, vendors, and wait staff from development, execution and post event analysis. She utilized her 14 years of experience of event protocol knowledge to plan seamless events. She has also sold, managed non-profit, corporate events and weddings.
While working as an Events Director, Amy Cimber ran high profile conferences for companies such as Bloomberg, MTV, and Sloan Kettering Hospital. In addition, she also managed high end events for The James Blake Foundation, Reginald Lewis, sold and managed celebrity weddings. Coordinated & lead all staff for Catering, AV, Décor, Security, Venue and Entertainment. She developed all the event concepts, design and logistics (from travel & hotel to floor plans) and procured all venues and vendors for VIP Events, Conferences & Meetings. She mentored, managed and trained other planners. Currently, she is freelancing while pursuing her MBA on-line with the University of Massachusetts Amherst with the expectation of graduating in the spring 2020.
